This policy describes what The Floating Vanity, a brand of Altic Business Services LLC, collects when you use thefloatingvanity.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have written it to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every possibility, and we will update it when that changes.
What we collect
If you place an order, we collect what an order requires: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and the contents of the order. If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.
Our site runs on WordPress and WooCommerce. Our security plugin records IP addresses and failed login attempts in order to block attacks. Our caching software stores anonymous technical information to serve pages faster. Nothing on this site is designed to track you across other websites.
We do not currently run advertising pixels or third-party analytics. If we add them, this page will be updated before they go live.
Payment information
We do not store card numbers. When card payments are enabled on this site, they will be handled by a third-party payment processor that receives your card details directly. We will name that processor here at that time.
Who we share it with
Because we ship direct from the manufacturer, fulfilling your order requires sending your name, shipping address, and the items ordered to the manufacturer and to the freight carrier handling delivery. That is the minimum needed to get a vanity to your door and we do not send them anything else.
We also use service providers who host this website and deliver our email. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, which for a product with a one-year warranty and freight claims means several years. Correspondence is kept while it is useful and then deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@alticllc.com and we will respond. Some information we are required to keep for tax and accounting reasons even after a deletion request, and we will tell you if that applies.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. Ask us and we will tell you how they apply.
Cookies
This site sets cookies that are necessary for it to work — keeping your cart contents, keeping you logged in if you have an account, and security. We do not currently set advertising or analytics cookies.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
