Frequently asked questions

Is it actually solid wood, or veneer over MDF?

Solid wood. That is the entire premise of the store. Where a component is not solid — an engineered quartz top, for instance, which is a manufactured surface by design — we say so on the product page. We do not list veneered or MDF cabinets at all.

Will my wall hold it?

It depends on what is behind the drywall, and it is worth finding out before you order. A loaded 48-inch vanity can weigh 250 to 400 pounds, and that has to land in studs or in blocking — never in drywall anchors, whatever the packaging claims. Our installation guide walks through both approaches.

How high should I hang it?

Your choice, which is one of the real advantages of a floating vanity. Most people land between 34 and 36 inches from the floor to the top of the counter. Lower if the household is short or it is a children’s bathroom. Decide the counter height first and work backwards.

Do you install it?

No, and we recommend you do not do it yourself unless you are comfortable with both framing and plumbing. A licensed plumber or an experienced finish carpenter is the right call. Installation is not included in any price on this site.

How does delivery work?

By LTL freight truck, free to the contiguous US, with the crate placed at the curb. The driver will not bring it inside unless you buy a threshold or white-glove upgrade. The carrier calls to book a window and someone over eighteen has to sign. Full detail on the shipping page — including how to inspect the crate before you sign, which genuinely matters.

What if it arrives damaged?

Note the damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, photograph everything, and email us the same day. We replace it and we pay the freight both ways. The note on the receipt is what makes the claim work, so do not skip it even if the driver is in a hurry.

Can I return it?

Within 30 days if it is unopened and still crated. Return freight and a restocking fee come out of the refund, and on a freight item that is a real cost — often $150 to $400. Ask us before you order if you are unsure about size; we would rather spend ten minutes on email than have you pay to send a crate back.

How long does it take?

Handling time is shown on each product page, then typically 5 to 10 business days in transit.

Do you have a showroom?

No. We are online only, which is how a specialist range stays affordable. If you want to see the wood before committing, email us — depending on the manufacturer we can sometimes arrange a finish sample.

Why is the photography labelled as illustration?

Because it is. We are pre-launch and the product images are drawn to each vanity’s real dimensions and species rather than photographed, and we would rather label that clearly than pass a rendering off as a photograph. Real manufacturer photography replaces them before we take orders at volume.
