We sell one thing, and we sell it carefully
Most bathroom vanities sold online are particleboard wrapped in a photograph of wood. They look right in the listing, they look right on the day they arrive, and then a bathroom does what bathrooms do. Steam, splashes, a damp towel left on the counter. The edges swell. The wrap lifts. A screw that has stripped once never holds again.
We started The Floating Vanity because that seemed like a bad deal for a piece of furniture people expect to keep for fifteen years.
What we carry
Solid walnut, white oak and teak. Floating and freestanding, 24 to 72 inches, with quartz or integrated ceramic tops, and cabinet-only units for people who want to choose their own surface.
That is a deliberately small range. We would rather list a few dozen vanities we can describe honestly — the species, the joinery, what the wall has to do to hold it — than ten thousand we have never looked at closely.
What we will not do
We do not sell MDF or particleboard cabinets, including ones finished to look like wood. We do not describe a veneered panel as solid. And if we cannot confirm what a cabinet is actually made of, we do not list it.
How we price
Freight is included in the price you see. Vanities move by LTL truck and shipping one is genuinely expensive, so a lot of retailers advertise a low number and recover it at checkout. We would rather quote you the real number once. Threshold and white-glove delivery are available as paid upgrades, because those are real extra work rather than a hidden cost.
Who we are
The Floating Vanity is a brand of Altic Business Services LLC, a Delaware company. We are an online retailer — no showroom, no warehouse. Vanities ship direct from the manufacturer to your home, which is how we keep a specialist range viable at these prices.
We are new. We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that the information on this site is accurate, that we answer email, and that we will tell you when a vanity is the wrong one for your bathroom.
